You want some names and numbers of clients who has purchased puppies from that breeder

All right, ask for them. You should get them. A good breeder should give them to you. All right

Number two is you should ask to see the puppy's environment. You want to see mom and dad, you want to see the facilities, whether it's her house or whatever

A good breeder ought to be willing to open their doors to you. you if you're going to buy an expensive puppy from them, right

Number three is you want to ask for a health guarantee in a contract or paperwork, okay

It always makes me feel better that you've got a breeder that has kind of done their homework

has got some guarantees for you and for them as well in a contract

So look for that paperwork, okay? Number four is you want to ask the breeder, have the puppies been to their veterinarian

Again, that establishes that that breeder has a good relationship with their veterinarian

You want to see some paperwork that the dog's been checked out by the veterinarian

All good breeders do this. And tip number five okay Are you ready for tip number five Is will the breeder take the puppy back if something was to go wrong or something was wrong health

Now here's the thing, you're probably not going to return your puppy to the breeder. But a good breeder wants those puppies back to them

They love their dogs. They care about the home that they're going to. So that's a really good sign is a breeder that is willing to take their dog back

that's what you want to look for because they care, they're breeding intentionally

and they're just being good breeders overall. So those are the five tips to ask, or five questions you need to ask your breeder that you're looking at
